I stripped the drain bolt on my case!!!! Whats the best way to solve this? I already know the quick and easy teflon tape method, but im looking along the lines of a tap or something similar, thanks!

yur option are

helli coil
tapp for a lt250 plug
get a self tapping fram plug from an auto store, (you will hav to cut it off)
new cases.

good luck.

*note: if u tap it coat whatever u r tapping it with in axle grease it will help keep the metal from getting in the enging.

another trick is to use low air pressure in the case and have someone hold a vaccume while your drilling, tapping. Just another way to keep chit out;) :D

Zeds on the right track w/ his post, then again so is Char

Good Luck bro!

When i stripped mine i went to a local auto store and got a couple that were alittle bit larger diameter. Then i just rethreaded the whole to the larger size a flushed out the cases really well. Works fine now. If you go that route get a plug that has a magnet in it if at all possible.
