I want a good all around cam something to liven it up. I ride mostly in sand/gravel pits, fields, drag races, mostly everything but MX racing. I dont know what cam to get?? I was looking at the stage 2 hotcam but I heard that bottom end blows so now Im confused, Im also getting a 11:1 Wiseco .040 over with xr400 gaskets at the same time. What cam should I get? I dont want it to be too pricey though.

i would go with hotcam too... i ws impressed with it for awhile,, nowi have 2 wait about 2 more weeks before i can test it out again.

Are those the old stage 2 or the new stage 2? Anyone ever used magnum cams?

they are referring to the stage 3's (new ones)

Ill get the stage 3 hot cam then can I just drop it in then?

Yes, you can just toss it towards the bike and it will "drop" into place. Ha ha.

Actually with the HotCam it is a "drop in" cam meaning that you don't have to have your rockers hardened or anything like that. So you can just open up the head cover and drop it in...easy job.
