Ever pipe a 250ex?

My younger brother (25 years old, entry level rider) has a 250ex to learn on this year. He has all the basics down but i want him to wait untill next year to get his 400. He craves more power but i have seen too many people get hurt moving up too fast. Does a pipe add a noticeable power increase in this machine?

My friend (kyle_racer_31) has a 250ex with a powroll 265 kit and more. He ran the stock system with that for a while but when he got the full system HMF I definately could tell a difference. The head pipe is easily 3 times the size of a stock one and it sounds pretty good. Overall its worth what they sell for.

He said it has a full HMF. I used to own a 250ex and had a FMF megamax and K&N and it made a decent power gain. Some 20" rear tires will give him alot more torque also.
