What steering stem should i get and how much would it be, i found out that a stock one is $175, so i'm looking to spend around $250 for an aftermarket one. does anyone have any suggestions?

You can get a stock for $80 from service honda but an Arens is $240 from Nac's and comes with the top clamp (not a one piece but you don't pay extra for it). It's a nice stem for a reasonable price. :p

Woops, didn't see it was for a 300ex, sorry man, like warriorman said, 300 clams. :p

I have the Arens. And can only say its ok, the only thing I'm impressed about it, is the price. It looks decent too.

I didn't notice it was for a 300ex, does Houser make one for 300ex? They make nice stuff though, you should read closer, the $220 doesn't include the top clamp and bushings, it'll be a bout $300 total. :p

can i use my stock bushings and clamp, they are ok, its just the top of the steering stem that is bent

If you go to this page you'll see what I'm talking about. It's set up differently than stock so that really won't work. They do make one for the 300ex though according to www.legacyatv.com for $210 grey or $230 chrome, you still need the clamp though.

It would probably just be like an extended stem..so your bars would be higher in the air
