Hey guys, I know some of you all are big into RC so I figured I'd ask this here. There is a part on the motor side of the servo ( I guess this is a servo saver type thing too) It is a black arm, that when you give it throttle, it rotates.. Which you can see internally if you have the air filter off. Well, mine popped out of the motor. How is it held in there? Any help would be appreciated guys. Thanks alot, J.C.

Most of the arms are held on the servos by screws, if the shaft popped out then something probably broke in the servo. There is a post on here about rc cars, try to find someone that has an rc10 and ask them. My truck is an hpi so I haven't messed with many associated. Also, what brand servo is it, is it the stock one?

Servo's are servo's, no matter what kit you have. But, you were right in saying that they are held on by little screws.

this isn't actually the servo though. This piece slides inside of the motor. It looks like a little cylinder with a hole cut in it.....It has to do with fuel I'm assuming, because when you hit the throttle, it rotates inside of the motor....It's right below the air filter, if you take off the filter, look down inside of the intake.......

Are you talking about the slide in the carb? If you are mine is held on by a nut and the black arm wil either screw on the end of the slide(on my single needle) or the nut will hold it on too(on dual needle)

there is a nut holding the arm on, but then the aluminum piece is inside of the motor......and it seems to want to fall out when I give it gas......

has your servo come loose from the chassis? i believe the only reason it swould pull the carb slide all the way out is if it is not adjusted correctly.adjust your servo end points. or manually remove the servo arm and re-adjust it. if your servo has not come loose from the chassis.ya might need to get inside your carb and make sure everything is still intact...

Do you have any pics, that would be really helpful.

go to www.rc10.com and look at part manuals. Is this a stock AE .15 or a aftermarket engine? Sounds like the slde to me. Is this a slide carb or rotary?

Heck just buy my rc10GT with a extra of everything (including radio system minus extra transmitter) for 350 bucks.

Its allllllll aftermarket my friend
