View Full Version : 400EX heal guards on 300EX

Got my self a set of 400EX heel guards and put them on my 300Ex they look awsome and they fit not too bad either I will have to get some pics and post them.I like the way that they match the fender becaust the flare out at the top and the 300 heal guard dosen't.

I tolck a couple pics last night. I had to bend the mounting bracket a bit to get it to line up and there is a s shape on the foot peg side that fits in a hole on the footpeg and is there good and strong. I removed the bracket that bolts to the footpeg and I cut the plastic piece off that wraps arround the end of the footpeg. Now the fit and look awsome I think. I like the way they meet the fender at the top. The 300's are so flat at the top.The reason I did this is because mine had no heel guards at all and these only cost me 20 bucks.
