I had to use a small metal tab to connect my pipe, otherwise it was too close to the grab bar.

was there a clamp that came with it to hold it onto the header ?

There was no clamp that came with it. I have seen after market clamps if you needed one. Why do you need one? Is it a loose fit? Is there an exhaust leak? Do you have that silicone (like) seal stuff that you put on the head pipe where it goes into the silencer? That helps seal the pipes.

Is there a high temp o-ring in it? That is what holds it and seals it to the head pipe. If not then contact Pro Curcit and I am sure that they will send you one.
I don't like that design myself. One thing you can do, that I am going to do later, is to get some high temp rubber hose to slip over the head pipe and the silencer. Then clamp it down with two hose clamps. A buddy of mine did that with his Banshee and it seem to be working good.

if memory serves mine had 2 o-rings..

never leaked a bit.

the FMF powercore IV-Q that I'm running now is set up virtually the same way, and it doesn't leak either..

was your leaking or did it just feel to loose?

sparkles I've come to the rescue my friend...you need the muffler gasket out of your old stock muffler,,it's a gasket that you slide into the pro circuit slip on. I had a very loose fit with my bills thunder pipe and was like WTF is goin on here,,it's way too loose. Then i went out on service honda and looked at the muffler and seen what I was missing..here's a link to service honda and the part i'm talkin about is the gasket, muffler,,,I think this would work for you too, and the stock muffler clamp should be able to work too,,My header/silencer connection is better now than it's ever been. Let me know if it helped or not,,plus its free and if ya got the old muffler then your cookin with gas..

I don't know.. I added it the same time I went with the hi-comp piston / cam.. :(

I know that my neighbors are much happier now, although there are times when I really miss my T4 (like 6am saturday when I'm loading the quad on the truck :) :) )
