300ex sputor

I removed the wiring to paint the frame and now I am getting a really bad sputor when I rev the engine. I have changed the plug and cleaned the carb. I just cant seem to figure it out. I think that it caused by maybe a bad ground or something but if anyone has experienced anything like this can you please help me out.

Make sure you remove all paint anywhere a ground attaches to the frame and double check your connections.

your reverse inhibitor unit will keep the rpms down when using reverse,thats what yours is probably doing all the time,make sure all of your wiring such as the reverse and neutral switches onthe side of motor by rear brake pedal is hooked up properly,make sure you didnt accidentally switch them.:)
