Well I am quite tired of my rear shock bucking the crap out of me on my 400ex. I am getting ready to send the rear along with my fronts out to be rebuilt by a company that specializes in doing the top setups. I've pretty much narrowed it down to Precision with some help from Rick Cecco. I just wanted to know if anybody else had dealt with them and what they thought?

I know Allen, who is in charge of the atv division at Precision Concepts. Allen is a really good guy and Ive heard from his riders that his stuff is the best they've ridden.

Good luck with your new purchase

I know Doug Gusts has his reworked by them. Even though they are all Elka parts.

I thought that Doug used Noleen to prep his suspension using Elkas to star with, though I could be wrong.

Allen White worked for Duncan for years, then moved over to PC to work with Bob Bell and handle the ATV division.

A number of riders use them to set up thier shocks and I have heard many good things from them. I had my TCS rebuilt by them and they work great.

I would venture a guess that you'd be very happy with the results if you were to go that route.

Gust and Jones have their shocks done by Noleen.

I just got done talking with Allen, and he told me right around $400 to have them fully rebuilt/revalved with the new seals and what not. I am going to go with this for sure. I will be sending them out tomorrow, so I can have them back for the end of April, first weekend of May when we are going to the Hatfield. 2-3 day turn around at the most, amazing work! I will do a review when I get them back with some ride time...

No the fronts are Elka LT Quadrates, Compression/SSD adjust. The rear is a stock shock rebuilt by Elka to make dual rate/SSD.

Well they got the shocks done in 1 day, and they are now on the way back to me. They have been amazing working with me to get them back to me before next Thursday because we are going to the Hatfield/McCoy.
