What gas caps fit on the R?

I need a gas cap for my R. Does anyone know if the 400ex and 450R caps fit the R as well?

89 r gas caps are a different size than an 87 i would be careful and check for yourself.

i dont know bout the 89 being diff but it might be but mine if a 87 and it fits o wait mine is a clarke gas tank that might make a diffrence sorry for the false info
