alright yea if i turn the lights on they work but when i hit the highbeams it kills the fuse so i have to replace it when i want to start the quad again. lights turn off when highbeam is turned on if quad is not running, they stay on if it is running but run off power of the quad so theyre much dimmer. the bulbs arent blown or anything and i cant find any broken wires. would my problem be in the switch itself? been like this since last summer so i could only run lowbeams at night i just now feel like trying to fix it again. thanks for any help greatly appreciated.

Pull off the front plastics and look at the wires going into the headlight. Often times it will wear threw and groud itselt out. Look VERY CAREFUL. It has happen to two of 400's

mine did it and i took the little connectors apart and sprayed them with compressed air and reconnected them and i was good to go. The only prob i have is that when i turn on low beams only one light works

no, lol, no it's not. See, when you turn the low beams on, it just makes the lights more dim. It doesnt just shut one light off. I've had them working before. Now it doesnt.

Out of the million 400EX's I've seen, they are all like that.. Mine, my cousins, my buddys... A bunch at our local park are like that... Not sure.

yeah, it is deffinitley a VERY common problem. But I know for a fact they aren't like that. Atleast mine weren't. I know a friend of mine has one light workin on high and the other works on low, so he can switch back and forth and looks like a cop. Just needs some translucent red and blue tape to put over the headlights.
