i would say no. sumthing that custom would be expensive to fix when it brakes. besides its a 4-stroke, who wants one of thouse terds.... o, and resell on yur r would prolly b more then that rx conversion.

4 or two stroke doesnt matter to me i dont care i just want some frekin power a 250r just aint enough for me but the 475rx is quick and i would say it is reliable i dont have the money to put it in to my r or i would cause i love it but his is all custom its a huevos bike

Yes, it will be more expensive then a 2-stroke to rebuild. But if you want a 4-stroke, then that won't matter. But not more expensive then a new 450r.

Personally, I would do the trade, sell the 350X motor on e-bay, and buy another 250r motor and drop it in the frame. Then your up one on all the parts.

thats pretty smart never thought of that good idea do you think i should run that motor and see if i like it cause it flies and a stock r motor wont touch cause i got a r and mine dosent compare he gets me on low and top and he can pull holeshots 450's

if yur gunna trade u might as well keep it as the rx conversion if u like the way it runs... less work, not to mention who knows if you could easily get an r engine in it with the stuff thas already been dun to the frame for the engine its got already.

one thing to keep in mind when you bore and stroke a 350x they become a time bomb with a short fuse, something sounds wrong with that deal, why would he want to trade unless something major is wrong with the bike. Will all his mods he could easily sell the 350x motor, and the frame, buy a 250r frame and motor and still be ahead of the game. I wouldn't something sounds wrong here, do you know what a 350x motor is worth???about $700 to $1500(with his mods more than $1500), the conversion frame is worth $500, now with this in mind why would he want to do such a trade????? If it seams too good to be true it probably is.

I had a 86 350x and I loved it, bullet proof and low maintainence, she was good to me for about 7 yrs:D I miss her(wipes tear:D )

theres a 350rx for sale here locally for $1600, w/ an 86 frame suppose If I could afford it.. I'd shwip up on it, but they really arent worth much unless its for the right buyer ...or really trick. If YOU like it... thats what matters, I might put 1 together next actually, but its not gonna be worth what a trick 250r is worth:D
