Ironboss Team race update

It's a beautiful day with temps in the 70's. As the race got underway, Chris Borich took the early lead. Unfortunately he hit a stump in the track and it sent him over the bars which scuffed up his back and he needed paramedics to clean his wounds while his father Joe continued to race. Rothermel(sp) and Neidlenger(sp) Teams are rounding out the top three. More coverage to come...

Borich wrecked once again, snapping the spindle on his 450r. This put him a lap down in third place, and now he and his father are sharing the same machine.

Amazingly Chris Borich and his father put their heads down to come back and win the race.

The team of Mike Lucas and John Cunningham finished second.

Rob Hertz and Kenneth Tincher finished third.

the officials on the track assumed he went a lap down...i geuss they havent been around pro riders too much:macho chris lost some time with the 2 wrecks but they never went down a lap. the scoring official validated that team Borich remained on the lead lap the entire race.

there was some awesome racing between everyone, and at 3 hours it wore everyone out:p
