Hey, I've heard that for XC the puck style stabilizer is better, and the piston style is better for MX, is this true? I bought a denton rebuildable and trashed it on my 2nd race. Now I'm looking at a WER stabilizer and I was wondering if anybody has mounted one to a stock 400ex stem. Any modification or adapters required? Any info you guys could give me would be great. Thanks!

Its not a stock stem, but it would still mount up the same way.

So how do you like it? anybody? I want to get one for my R. Spoke to them $379 for the unit. It's 329 @ rocky mtn. They said the price doesn't change if i get it from them. So tell me about yours & if all is good I'll order from rocky. Thanx

I like it. I've had mine on for about 3 weeks now and it's alot better than the piston style. Easy to mount, barely any modifications needed. I think it's well worth the money.
