what are good a arms for a 400ex that can use a standrd shock

I'm not quite sure what you mean...
All Standard travel A Arms will work with the stock shocks. But, if you ride hard at all....even a little...You should really go with some aftermarket shocks like works or elka..or atleast get your stock shocks revalved for +2 a arms.
Some good companies are Houser (I have them, they are very nice a arms), Burgard, Lonestar, Laeger, heck...Armadillo even makes some a arms that if you just want to widen your quad would be perfect..and they are a lot cheaper then all the other high dollar brands. Unless your a Pro MX rider, you shouldn't need anything much better then that unless you want to buy something that has the name attached to it.

HOUSER ALL THE WAY !!!! they are the best IMO i have their +1 arms on mine and wow i love them as long as you are not that big like me the stock shocks work fine im only 120lbs or so and they work great but otherwise i would get some aftermarket shocks;)

pretty good but you get what you pay for but i hear they are pretty god aarms on here ;)
