any 1 ever have a 400ex frame break

my frame broke right in front of the top motor mounts

i cannot express how mad that makes me i never even jumped but a couple of times:mad: :mad: :mad: :mad: :mad: :mad:

my frame had cracks at the top motor mounts....i had those welded and i gussetted the other areas of the frame....the frame is thin walled steel tubin as far as i know.

Yea mine is cracked there too. Someone told me that you had to take the battery off of because of you having to ground it to weld. But I don't know if that is correct. I just heard that it can cause damage to the battery.
