throttle

i bought a 2000 400ex and it came with a twist trottle and i need directions on how to put on the normal throttle i am about done but i dont know how to get it out of the carb (if that is what it is connected to)

You need to remove the seat and tank to get the cables out and in, then loosen the lock nut on the cable next to the carb, remove the two screws holding a black cover on that is located on the right side of the carb unhook the cable from the carb crank, you will understand when you are looking at the cable into the carb how to get it apart, screw the cable out of the carb then reinstall the thumb throttle cable in reverse.
