I'm going to a track in a little bit, and im missing the bolt that holds the rear brake resavoir in place. Would i be fine to go riding without that bolt? Or should i zip tie it into place?

I would zip tie it either way.

I ended up just zip tieing it. It seems like its not being used for anything though. It only has the one big hose on it. There looks like there is spot for another one, and i think its empty. Is this a bad thing?

not being used for anything huh? I thought only the 450r's had parts like that. Yes it is your rear brake reservoir, and yes it should have brake fluid in it up to the "upper" level line.

UH OH. So im guessing there is another line that is missing. Looks like ill need to stop at a dealership and pick up a manual, so i can get all this stuff straightened out.

I have never owned anything of this sort before last year, when i bought it. And i do all my own work on it. It has never been to a dealer when i've had it. I guess I have some work to do.

Does someone want to take a close up for me of what theirs looks like? Off a 250x or 300ex

word

if you didn't know what it was you could of just followed the line and see what it leads to, and there should be only 1 line, for the rear brakes

OK, so only one line to the brake resavoir? Because it looks like a place for another line to hook into. Ill see about picking up a manual, so i can check it all out.
