how many of you have built a stroker for the 400? Is it worth it?where did you get it and how much was it? What other mods did you get? Thanks.

from what i read:

great for trails and low end power. not good for high end power and drag racing (unless you go huge, like +500cc's).

I am building it now hope it kicks a@#. I got it from Powroll got the heavy rod too.

I heard Dennis Kirk is selling stroker kits not sure how good they are.

One of the best things I ever did to My Baby!!!! Look at my signature for all the other Mods. Cost close to 500 from Powroll--Check out their site!!But well worth it!!! Had to beat the HEL out of the Yamaha ha ha's. Excellent top end, Ferocious Revvvvs....

is there anywhere that i could buy JUST the stroker crank and a 13.5:1 je piston kit for a reasonable price like a 4mm stroker or something that will give me a little bit more all around power?

what needed to be machined for the stroker crank to fit?

everything fit fine no machineing need to be done just crank work.

depends on how much of a stroke you go, I have a 7mm stroke and my counterbalancer had to be machined down and the front skirt of the piston had to be shaved some

I believe 4mm is the largest safely
