hey guys,
i have just rebuilt my 250r from top to bottom all new seals and bearing and a new rod kit put in the crank. ive riden it 4 times and it goes hard. But ive just noticed i have movement in the crank sideways? i can grab the flywheel and it moves in and out a little . only a little but enough to worry about.
i pulled the ignition and flywheel off, no probs, also the clutch basket. the problem is where the primary drive gear fits on the right side of the crank, i have the spacer then the big gear and then the smaller gear followed by the bolt. the last gear before the bolt does not go on the crank far enough and is giving a couple of thou movement. ive tried everything? i thought it might be the crank spacer wasnt pushed onto the crank enough but it seems fine. the crank is sitting in the brearings fine.
help ??? should i worry about it, like i said it goes hard.
