what are the downsides and are there any differences in who makes them like is tc better than wb or the opposite
jw seemed like a good mod what are the advantages in it besides higher rpm and does that take the reverse rev limiter off to? thanx ahead of time

On a stock quad a rev box will do nothing except make it easier to detonate your engine. A stock engine has already passed peak HP by the time the rev limiter kicks in. In my opinion i would wait on that mod until you get the 330 kit and a hotter came. I think the aftermarket boxes are designed for engines with internal work and a cam which would allow the engine to make peak HP at higher RPM's than the stock rev limiter would allow..

you can send it to FST and they will mod it for around $100, i think

or you can get a magnum rev box from dirt-deals.com for 50 dollars.

the reverse limiter is seperate, you can just remove it. there are some other forums on here about it.

on the modified stock cdi's theres no rev limiter in reverse either.

i think some of those aftermarket cdi's are remanufactured or cheaper copies. i've heard of some having problems with them.
