Goto www.cardiscountstereos.com. I bought my amp off there this week. It was a Pheonix Gold "Gothic" 400watt 2 channel for $64 + shipping. I received the amp 3 days after I had placed the order. All items are brand new. I cannot find any place cheaper for new, or used, parts.
But to answer your question, I do believe those would sound nice together.
Good luck.

you dont need a 4 channel amp to run subs...a 2 channel will be fine

would i need a 4 channel if i was going to run all my other speakers off it too? like if i was going to upgrade later on..or no? im not looking for the best system out there tho, so will it be fine without running them off the amp?
you can get much better stuff for the money...check out re's re line of subwoofer....best bang for the buck imo...re audio (http://www.reaudio.com)...also if you were wanting to run your subs and a pair speakers off one amp, you would need a 4 channel, just bridge two channels for the subs and run the other two speakers off the other two channels

run seperata amps, a small 4 channel for the highs an mids an a class-d monoblock for the subs. if youve never heard of them do yourself a favor and check out mmats products. i promise you wont regret it.

I'm not a fan MTX, but it also depends on how serious you want to get. If your just looking for subs and don't care that it bangs harder then everyone else , then go for it. I'll say one thing, its an expensive hobby to get into!
