300ex sprocket help?

What sprocket sizes would you recomend for a 300ex, mostly stock, full exhaust, jetted, k&n, and soon a cam and cdi.

I would like a little more wheelie power, so i guess low end. Will i lose much top end with a 14/39?

nah you don't lose a whole lot ..i use that setup for drag 100yds

What rear tire size? if stock tire size, id just leave it at stock(14/38) But if your wanting more top end speed just knock up the front sproket to a 14. i use a 14/38 with 18 rears.

I am running a 13/36 with 20" rears and I love it. I used to have a 38 on the rear but I was reving out tooo fast but the 36 is good and I could even go with faster gearing too the bike still seems to have enough power to do it. I like what I have now though! I had to put a half link in my chain to get it to fit right though!

I wouldn't go any lower then stock gearing. I say keep the 38 in the back put a 14 on the front see how you like it. if you want more speed then go with a 36 on the back. if you want more power then go with a 39 on the back.
