well dude, we get a post like this, literally every day. I usually dont get on people about asking questions...But after awhile it gets on my nerves,,,

This is a bad idea! Stick to parts made specifically for the 300ex. The 400ex/250r front end will fit but it will NOT work properly. Do yourself a favor and do a search and pay attention to the posts by Jeff@TheQuadshop and Bradley300. This setup has been tested by many people on here including myself and eventually we all ended up either switching back to stock or buying the correct parts.

Jeff, i should have listend to you alot sooner!

I finally switched to 300ex +3 arms instead of the 400ex +2s....much better ride!
