11:1 piston for 300

I am interested in gettin a 11:1 comp. piston for my 300, I was looking on magicracing and it has the bore sizes. So I was wondering is there a difference in the bore from standard to .020-.080, by that i mean power over, and if I were to get a standard bore 11:1 would it make a difference in performance. Im hopin to get a webcam and valve spring kit to with some port and polish done as well. Thanks

i have the 11 to 1 piston in mine on the stock bore,it seems to give a lil mo' snap off the bottom and maybe a bit more grunt,i have that and a exhaust system and its good enough for now,i can do what ever i want on it.every little bit helps overall i guess..:)

What exhaust do you guys recommend for a 11:1 300ex. I was jsut going to throw on a slip-on and be done with it till I can port and polish.

i would buy a 11t wo1 piston standard bore and cam and id get a full system exhaust and the piston will give some good power gains.

Do I have to get my cylinder bored or is it just a high comp piston, hows the power???

Yea, you have to resleeve and bore. Just call FST, they will hook you up with what you are lookign for. The power is amazing, it was such a huge difference. But the 330 alone with 11.1 comp. isnt going to do much without a cam and port work.

i wouldn't waste my money on a cleanup..i would just bore it add cam and HD spring kit..good exhaust anymore then that just get a 400
