mine wasnt very noticably harder to start in the winter, but then again about the coldest it gets here is 30 degrees so dont take my word for it

mine was cold blooded in the winter. especially when it sat for a week between rides.

the only time i had problems was when it was below 15 degrees. But i just shot some starter fluid in it and it fired right up on the first kick

MINE STARTED IN 20 DEGREE WEATHER AFTER ABOUT 5 KICKS BUT IT ALWAYS STARTS EASY ABOVE THAT!

I live in northern Alberta and I haven't had any problems starting it in minus 10-15 Celsius. 4-5 kicks and fires right up.

Never had any problems with mine after a week of sitting between rides in the cold New Engalnd winter.
Choke it, pump the gas a couple times and kick. Usually started after a kick or 2.

ALL I CAN SAY IS IT STARTS A LOT BETTER IN THE COLD THEN MY 400EX. IT ISN'T REALLY THAT HARD TO KICK EITHER.

mine was a little pick in the cold after sitting a while. maybe it was because of motor mods or my jetting wasn't spot on. sometimes it would take about 14 or 15 kicks. its still no big deal though.
