Best Headpipe for ESeRIES?

I have an 04 400ex with a E Series slip on. What is the absolute best head pipe. I want the best one for getting up the hills at the dunes. My dad just got the full HMF exhaust and his bike pulls hard..... Would the HMF Headpipe go good with E series?

white brothers sells a head pipe for around $100, don't know if its the best you can possibly get though

I may be interested in a head pipe mod also. I would guess that re-jetting would be required? How much of a differance would be noticed??

From what I understand the stock headpipe will make the most torque, whereas an aftermarket headpipe is more for top-end horsepower. Being that you have the white bros slip on I think you can use an FMF headpipe if you wish. (might want to double check that though) I would say just get the hi-flo as I've heard that the powerbomb doesn't make enough of an improvement to really notice.

Can any differance be noticed by grinding the welds out on the stock pipe??

someone told me GT thunder claims an extra 1/2 horsepower. i really couldn't tell a difference but i guess a 1/2 a horsepower would be hard to notice.

I think the WB header only works on a full system. I don't think they make a header that will fit on a slip-on. I've seen people use PowerBongs for their headpipes with a E-Series slip-on. I don't know about the HMF headers though.

i THINK, the s-bend header does work from WB. however, the pro meg header will not.

a lot of people used to run the fmf powerbomb header with wb eseries

My friend has a WB Pro Meg silencer and WB hearder on his 300EX and bouight the silencer first and bought the header about a year later and it fit. Now he has an HMF silencer with the same header.
