I will be racing motocross, and putting this bike threw everything, is gussetting the frame a necessary thing on this bike? And if so where should I put some gussets? Thank you.

I have an 05 YFZ that i ran a indoor winter series on. Its a small track with the biggest jump being 56'. I raced 18 races there plus practices and my frame has already started showing stress places. Both sides under the bottom subframe mounts. Up front by the shock mounts. I'M having houser do mine but there is alot of company's selling gusset kits.

Might as well just do it. My frame has shown a little bit of stress and bent pretty bad on the tube that the steering block bolts to. At least gusset that.

so for racing mx, gussetting the frame is almost a must?

Just recived mine from Lone Star racing yesterday. Pretty good kit and it was shipped in one day. That is if they have them in stock. I'll post some pics in a few weeks when I get mine all stripped and welded.

They have some good pics of their kit on there. The one that is a must is from the top radiator bracket to the loop that the steering block bolts to. A few of my friends including me have bent it right there.

Thanks, I already went there, and looked at the pictures. I will do all the gussets that they showed on the LSR site, but if anyone has any other places that have been weak let me know, thanks.
