One winter rebuild almost done

Well this is my dads harley wide glide, My boss and I painted all the Misc parts to match the bike, Its been a work in progress, eventually we will get wheels and such. We have about 6-7 grand in the motor and maybe 4 in other stuff. We have about 6 sets of pipes for it, another pair of cylinders and heads, 103 stroker etc. :)

Its a 2001, the paint is a limited edtion thing only 2,500 of each model in the us, The harley davidson is 24K gold leaf and its a miltone burgundy with some sort of gray, we bought her down at bikeweek in florida

Most people go with a 11.5 rear shock lowering the rear end about 1 inch or so, we went with a progressive 10 inch shock lowering it almost 2 inches, with reg travel front shocks, it sits exactly how we wanted it to.

The heart of the beast :devil: Its runing at 265 psi in each cylinder, the starter for it is 500 bucks, we've ate up 3 of them :(
We had a 300+ pound guy on it, 5th gear down hill and it slid the backtire trying to bumpstart it when the starter took a crap, its a wild little motor :devil: it use to be a 103 stroker with the 95ci cylinders till we cooked the motor, so now we just redid the motor not to long ago, new everything, had the heads ported and polished, she screams now, our clutch was about 500 bucks, and so on I'm really proud of it. We can roll it in about 3rd gear, about eh 25-30mph and just romp the throttle and it will carry the front wheel for 50+ foot with both of us on it. :D

Last one I'll have a video of it idling soon, the new cam made a nice differance!

This summer we plan on putting a raked tripple tree, +3 or 4 tubes, chrome lower fork tubes, or I may paint them as well with some custom wheels,matching rotars and Rear pulley :)

Yeah shes a 1550 big bore, we tryed to use as much screaming eagle as possible not to void our warrenty, but around next december she'll be paid off and I think I wanna help my dad build a bigger and badder motor for it, Maybe a 124 or so :scary:

A big thing that changed the performance we changed the upper primary gear to one tooth lower, it improved the bikes performace by far, We blow peoples minds with it when we go down to the drags and take on some 113s and such :cool:

Thanks for the good replys guys, it means alot when you put alot of work into something and people actually like it, I'm kinda glad we didnt sell it for a custom, it takes the fun out of doing it your self and making it your own :)
