I have a pretty nice atc 250 r for sale. It has an aftermarket silencer(not sure what kind) boyesen power reeds and I got a spare engine that is missing third gear but it will start and run with a carb and exhaust. I would like to get 750.00 for the bike and if you would like the spare engine to rebuild as a screamer make me an offer...

that is possible but how would we exchange?? I cant travel very far.. and I would want to keep my spare engine, I'll take some pics of it tomorrow when its still light after I get off of work, if you can come up with a way to exchange the bikes it's a yes, I can probably travel up to 100 miles on a weekend... or refund some of the gas to you to make if fair...

Ill have pictures up here in a day or two....

Yes it runs good, it starts in just a couple kicks and runs very strong once it warms up. Awesome powerband, very fast bike, scary machine. I also have an extra bearing carrier that needs bearings, and a swingarm in good condition that will go with the bike. The only thing that is wrong with this is the rear brake master cylinder needs to be rebuilt and if I remember right one of the fork seals leak a little bit, I haven't rode it in a few months, too caught up in all my other bikes... when I got this about a year ago it was missing the airbox and just had a k&n taped to the original airbox boot, the rear bearings were shot and it was missing third gear. I completley stripped the bike down to the frame because that's pretty much what you have to do to get the engine out and put another engine in it since it was missing third gear and planned to rebuild the one that came out of it(it ran when it came out) and when I did that I found out it had boyesen power reeds in it, and i tracked down a airbox with all the original boots to hook it up to the frame and put new bearings and seals in the rear, when I tore the bike down all the bearings throughout the bike seemed good nothing was loose, I also have a brand new headlight in the box but I never got the mounting bracket for it to make it a complete bike.... Does the blaster run, what's the story on that?? I have a cr80r engine I'd like to put in that for my oldest son...

since I just said I'd be willing to trade it for that blaster and he's asking 700.00 then I guess I would be willing to take that but that's it since i'm already taking a loss at 750.00 after what I paid, putting another engine in it airbox, etc... everything I explained before but yea I will take 7...

yes, air cooled 250r, you can make these water cooled with a cylinder off of a pilot or odyssey... but it's still a ripper, I pulled it out today for the first time in a few months to take some pics. and it took about 8-10 kicks and a few of them were before I remembered to turn the gas on and after it warmed up it took only one to two kicks each time I started it. I like the bike but I want to put some engine work into my 300ex.
