ok i need to replace a rear sprocket, how much more slack should i give the chain, what teeth or line should i put the swing arm on?? any suggestions..?

I am totally lost:huh Are you asking if you should put the swing arm on to replace the chain??If the swing arm is off then I would suggest putting it back on to replace the chain.;)

take the chain off, take the old sprocket off, then put the new sprocket on, then put the chain back on, then tight the chain to specs.

I think I know what he is asking. On the bearing carrier there are little marks that line up with marks on the swing arm.
With so many marks to choose from I am not sure I can answer your question. You should haul that bike down to the dealer and ask them to adjust your chain for you.

can, I ask why you would gear your quad to 15/40 would'nt that be the pretty much the same as stock?

Ok ok . 40th . cause it will give more low end. Dont mind loosin top end.. Ok with the 40tooth.. i can still use stock chain?
