ehh, I think youd enjoy a 400 more. 2004 vs. 1988... stick with the 400

Buy a 416 or 440 for your motor. Yes I would stick with the 400.

Where do you mainly ride? If it were me I'd stick with the 400EX as well and build the motor if you want it faster. But if the 250R was built out for MX and in good condition it would be a different story.

well it all depends. if your doing alot of trail riding then id say stick with the 400. but if you are ridin the dunes and or doing alot of mx id say go for the 250r. does it have any aftermarket parts? you should still get some cash out of it or sumtin. but some people will just tell you to stick with the ex because they are awsome machines. but a honda is a honda. its prob still running strong and its a 88. so that tells u something. if you want it and it suits the riding conditions you are normally in do wat u fell is best
