I took my 300 out today since it was nice and putted around in the driveway with it and went on the snow banks a little. when i was heading back to the gar***e i went to give it gas and the handle bar right in my hand. it just snapped at the point on which the crossbar mounts. It was a claen break, all the way through. has this ever happened to anyone? these bars are only 2 years old i only rolled it once with them on it , and the was on the clutch side. does tag have a warrenty, I can't rember if the do. i am rreally t.o. because i have not even done anything from them to break like that, i sure am lucky that it was in my drive way and not while jumping, wheelieing or out on the back 40. any advice would be appricated.

That sounds strange man, I have a set now, they are my second set. My first set got rolled a few times, the last time hard enough to bend my stem where my throttle touched the tank,it barely bent the bars. I don't know about the warranty either, but I have never heard of a set breaking that easy, maybe it was just a defective set or something.

THE BARS ARE TWO YEARS OLD MAN. I THINK YOU GOT YOUR MONEY OUT OF THEM.

Ive seen a pair of tags break before, but it was when Jay Quinlan was first attempting backflips on his ski-doo and the sled fell straight down from like 25 feet and landed on the bars. Broke it clean off where it starts going into the bar mounts. Other than that bars usually dont break like that.

well i sent an e-mail to tag but i have yet to hear from them. And to the guy who said that they are two years old and to get over it, when i pay 75 bucks for a set of handle bars that claim to be 35% stronger then others i expect them to last longer then 2 years expesially on a 300ex that does not get raced or riden to rough and that has never been laid on the bars

i will probaly get a set of t-2 or pro-tapers now though

I run tags. I was out wen it snowed messing around well i went to roost a dirt spot 3rd gear pinned but it was frozen over and it sent me spinning and the quad got some grass laned right on the tags not a bend or anything and i have bent Renthals when i had my 250 ex on a hill lcimb hit a root and my quad did just 1 tumble and im like they should be fine they are Renthals and i look and they are bent.

could of had water inside of them and over time it rusted them to where that happened

I have had two sets of tags break where yours did and also a set of renthals. Same concept they broke off in my hands. Haveing the crossbar clamp loose will couse this to happen. Just make sure they are tight and you should be fine
