300ex cutting out

I'm working on a 95 300ex that is cutting out in the high rpm range. It actually feels like the rev limiter it engaging, and I'm stumped, and open to suggestions. I changed out the cdi, stator, pickup, and etc., but to no avail. let me hear what you think.

Oh and the carb is clean, I wasn't born yesterday.:D

maybe your rich on the main.maybe your rockers are worn out.i have seen that before,there wasnt enough lift to open the valves,rockers and cam was shot in a 93 ex i bought to fix up.
