Why The Squeaking!!!

Every time i even sit on my quad, my front end makes the most annoying squeaking noise and it doesnt stop until i get off the quad. I figured it was teh bushings so i threw some WD-40 in there but they still squeak!! Any ideas?

Mine used to squeak really bad everywheres and it still does! I just hit it up with PB blaster on just about every point that moves and it solves the probelm. I ususally let it sit over nite after I do this.

i pulled my shock off and greased the bushing a lil and it stopped the squeaking on my quad :D

WD-40 probably wont help. Your best bet is to take the a arm and shock bushings out and grease them with a good waterproof marine grade grease. I use cheap white lithium grease on mine and it works very well and doesn't wash away or dry up like the wd-40 does.

shoot me your mailing address, and ill send you some marine grease thatll never wear off.. i use this stuff in lower unit universals and its still there after a year of the boat being in the water.. ill send you enough to do your quad a few times over..
