Need Help Asap Please Read!!!

ok well i was riding in the snow and i finished up riding, and i blew a fuse, i put 2 new fuses in the quad and then turned the key and they blew...then i tired 2 more and they still blew...so can sobody please help me out on wut it could be???

There's got to be a short or water somewhere in the electrical.

Could be a bad ground. I doubt you need an entire new wiring harness. ALso you dont need to replace both fuses, one works and the other is a spare.

Take a meter connect one lead to ground and ring out all your wires one by one till you find the on thats grounding out. Of course if you check a wire thats supposed to be grounded it will ring out.

Check the wires on the plug at the switch first , make sure your light switch is off so you can eliminate that , then check your start switch for a short , then your coil , then your starter circuit.

If your blowing a fuse you are grounding a hot wire out somewhere, or you got water in a plug and it was making cotinuity form a ground wire to a hot wire but it should have dried out by now.

My friend had the same problem so we went out bought like 20 fuses and just kept trying diffrent things and finally we found it it was a bad ground on a wire no problems since.
