what are you guys runnin for nerfs and skids? I read alot about the rpm's where do you get those at? and far as nerfs? good and bads about different products I have ac propegs on my 250r

any suggestions on the 450r?

we run the prm skids and the ims pegs and ac regular nerfs.

Just curious -- how much did you spend for the belly and swinger skids alone. And then with shipping. What brand were they again?

Now I know people have their favorites and no matter how hard you beat them with opinions they will buy what they want. I just wanted to compare the prm skids to the armadillos I preach about.

PRM= frame=120
-------swinger=65=====185


Armadillo= frame=70
-----------swinger=80===150

And they are both the same thinkness, .190/.250
I'm just saying there are options to higher priced AC, DG,PRM, pro armor, GYT-R, ETC...

yeah prm makes good stuff... but with the pump protectors every time you want to change the oil filter do you have to take the protector off?

yea, just 2 bolts nothing big takes maybe another min. to take them off..

I would say get which ever brand you choose on the belly skid, but the swingarm skid is different! It takes a wholelot more abuse than the belly. I've tried many brands of aluminum skids, and the only one that holds up for me is the PRM! The fact that it has less welds than others makes all the difference in the world! It is formed in a press vs. cut and weld processes. Every other aluminum skid bends at the welds! PRM Z-Plate =#1 !!! As far as nerfs, I like my new AC Racing re-located pro-pegs pictured below::D I'VE NEVER SEEN A PEG LIKE THIS BEFORE!!!!
