clutch problems

my clutch on my 400 ex is really hard to pull. i lubed up the line so its not that. could i need a new clutch? how much would the parts be to fix that?

It probably is the cable, sometimes dirt gets way down in them and lube doesn't help.

if the basket is really notched that will make it hard to pull as well.it will also keep the clutch from disengaging all the way as well.
