I am getting ready to start on my project LT250.I have had it forever, and the paint is coming off if different places.I want to paint it but don't want to spend a furtune. This is my 2nd quad & only ride this bike in the sand, never really get it dirty.Where should I start?Should I sandblast all the paint off while my engine is out or just sand the spots that are loose and primer it before I paint it?

If you want to do nice job sandblast the entire frame and give it for repaint with epoxy paint. It will keep shine for a long period and will be strong then any other pain.

Here in Israel when everything expensive it cost about 150$.
I paint frame, swingarm and some small parts.
Yellow / Black.

I did it professionally.
I gave it to a factory that paint it with epoxy powder and then put in to a big oven for 90 min on 150°C .

see the result
(i'll try to paste my pic here)[SIZE=1]

O.K. so I stripped the bike down and degreased it with gunk, and pressure washed everything. I scrubbed on it and got it clean, but I tried to start painting it and it is bubbling. What should I do?I just nee to get it painted because I am selling it now.Should I try primer?I would love any help anyone has to offer.

Degrease it again, and try some primer. Also don't put thick coats on, try several thin coats instead of one thick coat.
