ticking noise

i just rebuilt my 350x motor and now theres a major ticking noise coming out of the top end. its got all new valves and springs. what could it be. i checked the timming and it seems to me to be on.

Are the valves adjusted right?

thats what i think it is but not to sure how to adjust them.

I haven't messed with a 350 much, I know how to do a 400. You should be able to do a search and find instructions for that, it might give you a good idea. You can probably do a search for the learences also.
