Axle Nut

The axle nut on my 300ex wont stay tight, id just like to kno what I can do so when i tighten it, its STAYS tight...thanks guys

I've never tried it,but i have saw a few people on here that uses black tape around the locknut to keep it from backing off.

Yeah...get it as tight as you can with pipe wrench, then take some electrical tape...start wrapping it around the axle then slowly move it over and start to cover the axle nuts and it'll always stay tight.

Right now im using the tape method and its working fine. You should get a new lock not though. Im waiting to find a good used anti-fade lock nut for sale...

If your on budget might wanna look at a RAD Lock nut... There only $50...
