Round 3 of the MHSC.

Kahoka is a well known mx track and we're lucky that once a year they let the hare scramblers come kick it up at the track. The 6 hours of Missouri will be held here May 21, 2005.

The kids got the race groove going by taking the course first. They ran about a 3 mile course.

Johnny & Monica
04-03-2005, 01:37 PM
They're off and Tay Tay is still on the line. They all took a wrong turn and had to be redirected back to the course.

Johnny & Monica

The first one to emerge from the woods was Tay.

Thanks to the Johnson family Earl, Pat, Zak, and Sage for letting Chance borrow Sage's 90. Dad worked until 7:30 Friday night trying to get his quad running right and it just wasn't going to happen this time.

Chance was in for a rough race as the pull rope was gone in the honda so he had to be push started several times during the race. He had now worked himself back to 2nd position and could see Taylor leaving the mx section just has he was entering.

I want to Thank the Burkharts again for such a great racing facility plus the food and all.

Also I would like to apologize for this race report. I've been sick and I dropped the ball on the starting line order and alot of other stuff. When we got back from the race last night I was running a fever of 101 and still today. So if anyone knows anyones names or can add any details to any of the pics please pm me and I'll get it updated. Thanks so much Monica

Another great race. See ya all at Round 4 April 23 at Bull Creek Ranch, Walnut Shade, MO. They're advertising a pee wee race so as soon as I get the details I'll get that posted. Thanks Monica

that mx track was the roughest mx track I have ridden on it it wasnt that great of I track I thought. I wont be driving to that race next year I will just stay at home I dont like mx track that well. especially if they are that rough and the sawdust just didnt do it for me. The facility was real nice and the people were great I am just no good at mx racing and the whoops were terrible on the rider and the bike.:(

I heard that there was a computer problem but don't know anymore than that. I think that the results were right just some of the times were off. Just guessing though. It does help me alot if your numbers match your mhsc number, I know alot of people race more than one series and it's hard to switch all the time.

Pretty sad when you have to come up with a pic that is a year old and a kid who was racing his first race ever. And if you think that they cut the course why the hel* didn't you say something a year ago punk??

BIG_DADDY0690
04-07-2006, 02:52 PM
First of all I was not trying to start an argument about if you did it or not. I just found the irony humorous.

@dj400ex
I never said anything about you cutting track. I have raced a few races with you now and know that you are fast enough as it is without cheating. I look forward to seeing you at Kahoka this year if you are there.

@DJJ450r
It was not at Kahoka were I seen you cutting the track, the first time was at Newark. I just used that picture as reference. The second time was at our last race in Westphalia, at the time I had no idea that it was the same person I saw cutting at Newark. I saw him cut through a field, and then instead of running through the creek bed he ran along side it for about 200 yards. At that point he had gained 3 positions, so he was 4 people ahead of me. I was never able to catch back up with him, but I knew for sure I didn’t pass him. So that left him either finishing first or second, because I finished third. Well I look at the result today and guess who just happened to come in first!

I’m not trying to call you out or judge you, but it really frustrates me when I go out to race and I get beat by a cheater. I know I’m not the fastest racer out there, but I’d like to know where I stack up to people that are running the same race as me.

@sspalco
If I was you I’d be disappointed that a “racer” that I supported was cheating. As far as not saying anything, I couldn’t prove it so why bother. Like I said that is what the helmet cam is for.

DJJ450r
04-07-2006, 03:43 PM
I don't remember Newark besides the fact that a lot of people cut course I may or my not have that race, if I did I apologize it wasnt on purpose. But at Westphalia I DID NOT cut course. I ran consistent 27-28 min laps and passed 4 people on the 1st lap I dont think you even saw me that race. Are you sure you saw ME? I did change riding gear for 06:confused: And where exactly did you see me cut at Westphalia?

dj400ex
04-07-2006, 03:58 PM
alright as long as u werent saying i cut course and ithink u have my friend mixed up with another guy or kid cuz he doesnt cheat he knows he would get dogged on by the pro's that we hang out with...

DJJ450r
04-07-2006, 04:12 PM
I just looked at my Newark results an I ran 27 min laps EVERY SINGLE LAP:macho so IF I did cut it wasnt by much. Same thing for Westphalia consistent 4 laps 27-28 mins EVERY LAP. I really would like to see me on helmet cam tho if you get any good footage send it to h0nd4_450r_r1d3r@yahoo.com :devil:

After reading your post it made me wonder myself if I really did see you or if it was someone else. So I decided to look at the pictures that Miller Photography (http://www.shutterfly.com/progal/slideshow.jsp?auto=0&aid=768a5498cf453dd9a5c3&idx=37) took. Look at picture 38 and 39 and tell me I didn't see you.

Let me just say one last thing, if you did not cut track then I am extremely sorry for accusing you of it. I do not want to make an enemy of a fellow racer, I just wish everybody would compete fairly.

p.s. any good footage will be posted on my website. ;)

I honestly don't believe that Devon cheated at the westphalia race. And he could NEVER disappoint me, for God's sake he is just a kid. If you ever catch anyone cheating, you should speak up at the race. You may not be able to prove anything, but if anyone else sees it also, there is reasonable doubt. Don't wait for weeks and then post it on a website you rarely visit because it doesn't make it that believable. Just my 2 cents worth.

Newark must have been badly marked cuz I remember several people who missed the entire pit area, not on purpose of course.

When you don't have anyone to follow cuz you're up front, and there aren't any arrows....what are you supposed to do? Just make a trail for everyone else to follow.

Look at picture 38 and 39 and tell me I didn't see you.

Let me just say one last thing, if you did not cut track then I am extremely sorry for accusing you of it. I do not want to make an enemy of a fellow racer, I just wish everybody would compete fairly.

p.s. any good footage will be posted on my website. ;)

Are you Robert? White Ford PS, yellow Z? If so I have talked to two people who you hit pretty hard from behind. That is how you make enemies. One was in a creek red 450R(flat tire) one was after a feild black 400ex. Both in your class. So whats up with that? See you at Kahoka. Later, Josh W.

Yep, thats me with the Ford "PoS". :rolleyes:

I doubt I hit anybody from behind, except for going for the holeshot, but who doesn't get hit then! I rode hard and had some battles with a couple people, but those battles were side-by-side. Furthermore I don't have a large front bumper, so if I had hit them from behind I would have a busted headlight.

Well I started out decent I guess. About Mid Pack. Then you know those nasty muddy deep whoops right after the first little woods section.....That is where my kill switch popped out. I killed the quad and almost got hammered from behind but had enough momentum to carry me off the track and out of the ruts. So I was dead last at that point and hoping I could get the quad started before the next class took off. Got it started got up to 8th after the first lap, then my dad said I was up to 5th or 6th by the first check point on the second lap. I was feeling really good then I got stuck in a huge bottle neck at the bottom of a hill. I sat there and talked to Devon, DJ, and Chad Davis for a little bit and then I looked for a new line. I found a new line that I thought would work, I tried it and flipped the quad over on top of me and then it would not start. So I walked back to the bottle neck and talked to DJ, Devon, and Chad again. Then I started to get cold so I walked back to the quad and kicked it about 100 times and tore all kinds of wires apart before it finally started. Then I climed the hill that caused the problem and a couple miles later I got stuck with about 30 more riders at the bottom of another hill. I sat there for what seemed like forever watching even the best pro and pro am riders frantically searching for new lines. Finally a track offical opened up a new line and every on filed through and we were off. By this time I was ready to roll on. But I got to the scoring tent and the race was already over. Kinda sucked for me but I had fun. I ended up 12th out of 15:rolleyes: but considering my luck I was glad my quad came out in one peice. Shoot I even got to help Bill Ballance get unstuck! My first lap was right around 36 min. So I probaly would have only got 3 laps in any way and with the amount of pushing and pulling I did on others quads I felt like I ran 5 laps. I should be rdy for Kahoka, I just hope it is not a muddy mess. See you at Seymour, and see the rest at Kahoka. Later, Josh

Me and DJ were gettin cold that's why we finally decided to go. It's not that the track was hard it's that I didn't want to risk hurting myself or my bike. I had no goggles and my eyes were starting to hurt. After looking at Ronnie's eyes I'm glad I quit. We didn't even go through the scoring tent we just cut straight through to our trailer and then saw you again:blah: I'm ready for Kahoka tho:macho

id be careful with your word choice if i was you, some of us faster guys might show you rubbin's racin' first hand if your not careful, riding like a moron and calling people who ride legit cheaters isnt exactly going to make you be liked, which may mean when one of us come up from behind to lap you that instead of yelling we decide to jus shove you to the side, your choice

im not threating you, or saying nething bad about you, all im saying is be careful what you say, because you never know whos watching

Big Daddy I talked with Tom P over this past weekend he one of the guys that put on the race. There was a rider that did the move you said he did but it was not Devon.

Tom at first thought it might have been him as well but after seeing his quad he knew right away it was not. Honest misstakes happen. I think this was one of them.

Hope to see you at the race and good luck. were all just one big family and your as welcome as the next guy. Don't worry about yurik were taking bets if he even makes it off the start line. :devil:

After all he is on a honda.

well, jus ordered a ton of parts today, found out the reason i couldnt pull my clutch in hardly at all after the first lap was because the cable was torn, my clutch perch/lever is shot also, a little bent (from a TT race) and the bearing has been moving around in it, probably going to break soon

i ordered a magura, so no more of these stupid problems :macho

Yes I kinda remember a yellow z in B class at the first Mo race this year. Thinking he was fast, banging a little to much, and failing to yeild to faster riders. I remember.
