A-arm problems..

I have a 300 ex and I want to put new a-arms, and shocks on it. its a 93 so I don't want to put a lot of money into it and i just wanted to get some 400 ex a arms, and shocks, or works shocks.. are there any special mods I need to make to put the a arms on?? Please help

The A-Arms bolt up just fine....but you have to weld on...or bolt on new upper shock mounts since the 400 shocks are longer than 300ex shocks. Even if you got aftermarket shocks you would still want 400ex length shocks or the whole conversion wouldnt really do much as far as suspension travel. I'm not an expert but thats just my understanding.
