OK yesterday when I went to start my 400ex I turn the key on and I see the neutral light on,my lights work, but when I press my starter button nothing happens at all. It doesn't make any noise and it's just like the key is turned off. I checked my switch thing too where if you move it to one side it stops or won't start and it's in the middle. So what's going on? Also all of my wires are connected under my hood.

i would try charging your battery first, and in the meantime check all of your connections and fuses too

Also could I charge it with a car battery charger or is that too strong?

the fuse is right by the battery, you will see it if you take off your rear plastics, its right by your start relay

Should there be another fuse there for backup? Because I don't want to run to the honda store. Also my grandpa could pull start mine by pulling it in 3rd gear with his ute. So is there a spare i'm asking. lol Could it be anything else?
Thanx,cory

yea there is a spare there, but i doubt that is your problem, try charging your battery first, always do trial and error crap when you can't start your quad, easiest to hardest or simpliest to most annoying, lol

What does it do when I need a new fuse? Also would it be able to have the neutral light on and lights if the battery needs charged?

yes the battery will be really low on power, and wont have enough energy to turn the motor over, just enough to have the lights on

use the trickle charge (2amp) on your battery charger when charging your quads battery

my friend on a raptor had that same exact problem and it was his starter relay. as soon as we put on a new 1 its started right up, no problems.

What's the starter relay and how much do they cost?

Don't buy a starter relay before you test it first or you may be wasting you money.
