I want to get a exhaust so bad but i CAN'T get one that is real loud i wanted a hmf but then on hear i herd they are really loud even w/ a qiute core (which i was planning on getting)

my freind had DG full system on his 300ex and it was to loud so now he's stuck w/ a $130 exhaust that he can't use and i dont want that happening to me w/ a $250 exhasut

so any-way which is louder a 300ex with a DG full system

or a 250ex with a HMF full system w/ a qiute core

and by how much would it be louder than

a dg is louder. get a HMF with a quiet core, its not that loud.

how much louder is it

Like around how many decibels would a 300ex w/ a dg full system be and how many decibels would a 250ex w/ hmf full system and qiute core be

dg's are very loud but sound like crap, HMF are fairly loud but sound very good! i remember seeing this somewhere, HMF is 104 DB, HMF with quiet core is 96 DB. 96 is the same as the e-series which ive had and it wasnt very loud. and to start with an HMF is not that loud anyways

i think a stock 400ex is like 89 decibels, i have a HMF slip-on and its loud but not annoying like loud. with the quiet core it helps a lot! i would definately go HMF!

I disagree with that, before a friedn of mine put a e-series(which also suck balls quality wise) on his 440 he had a cobra, we swear it lost power, it wouldnt bring the front wheels up in 3rd anymore, my camed 300ex kept up with it. We dont have dyno sheets to prove it but im 99.9% positive it lost power. He now has a Duncan exahuast on the way.

The HMF is rated at 91 db with the quiet core installed.
