hey guys i want to know how you can tell if your chain is too loose?

right where the chain slider is,usually if i can get more than 3 fingers between the swingarm and chain theres too much slack and i will adjust it.thats how i have been doing it for years but different strokes for different folks.too tight and it'll be more wear and tear on your driveline,too loose and you risk throwing a chain and possible case damage.:(

2muchquad- What if my bearing carrier doesnt turn. Got any suggestions or tricks to break it loose? Thanks for any input.

Loosen up the tightening bolts all the way.
Get a squirt bottle w/ alcohol in it. Squirt it between the carrier and housing. It will give it temporary lubrication, but quickly evaporate so you get full grip.
