View Full Version : Heat shield for FMF Power core pipe

05-12-2002, 07:47 PM
I am in the need of a heat shield for my pipe. I was told that
there is not one offered for the FMF Power Core pipe. If that
is true, does anyone have any ideas on making one from scratch
that I could try to make??

your help appreciated.

I think James Lucky enterprises makes a universal heat shield that fits the FmF pipe. I don't know the web address but you could probably just use a search engine. I've seen them before and they don't look that terrific but it keeps your boots and pants from getting fried.

thanks for the info on James lucky. I am going to see if
the maintenence dept. where I work can rig me up something.

You know, for what the pipe systems cost, they should come with
a heat shield designed to fit that pipe. I am not to worried about my legs, but I have a 12 year old daughter who rides it sometimes.
