i went on itp's website and was lookin at the XCR's and there different then that add they had in dirt wheels. are the jus like the XCT's or do they not have the knobbies on the side? can someone post a pic so i can be sure what they look like? thanks. sorry it's kinda a dumb question.

i just bought some this weekend at the gncc and i liked them alot. they got realy nice traction, but still slid very easy, but they only slid when i wanted them to. so far its a great tire. dont know about the wear tho

I've had the same set of original XCR's on my 400 for three years, and they stilll are pretty decent. they wear pretty well :cool:

ive had my xcr03's for a year and a half and they still have good tread

I love my xrs, I have been pre-running in baja for the past three races on the same set of tire (22 xcr fronts, 20 xcr rears) and I've probably worn out about 1/3. I think I have logged in about 300-400 miles on the same set of rears and fronts. And baja is not a walk in the park. I dont know why people keep saying holshot wear out quick.

I heard they got a bad reputation because the MX tires wear out quick. Never owned a set so I can't confirm but thats what people say.

I still have the same xcr's on my 200x that I had on my trx250r for 1 year, atc250r for 5 months, and now my 200x, I also have a set of xcr 03's,but didn't put much time on them.

what is the difference between xcr and xcr-03?

the xcr 03 has deeper treads, thats all I know

Thats pretty much it. 03's have depper thread. XCT's are the 22 inch version the "T" meaning tall.

THE ORIGIANAL XCR TIRES WERE 19" TALL WITH THE SAME TREAD AS THE XCT HOLESHOTS. THE NEW XCR-03 HAS THE OUTSIDE HALF KNOB REMOVED TO HELP SLIDE IN THE CORNERS AND GET BETTER FORWARD BITE. THE NEW XCR IS 20" TALL. THE TREAD IS STILL THE SAME DEPTH BETWEEN THE 2 JUST DIFFERENT OVERALL HEIGHT.
