YFZ axle

Anybody know what it takes to seat the axle properly on a YFZ. I can't seem to get the lock nut on because the threads aren't sticking out far enough, and don't really want to beat on the axle with a hammer to get it in.

Just hit the axle with a hammer using a block of wood against the axle, or a dead blow hammer
