i have a 03 250ex and im thinking about getting a white brothers e-series exhaust i am wondering

is it loud
about how much will it cost
I heard you could change the sound of it is this true can you change the loudness of it as soon as i get it and will it give me a good gains

-i cant get a loud exhaust that y i aint gettin the hmf full system

-im on a limeted budget

its not that loud compared to some of the other pipes. yea u change the sound by adding or taking away the disks

If I was in your position, I would buy the HMF and purchase the quit core as well. Don't waste your money on the E-series...it will just fall apart. Buy somthing that is going to last, and isn't anymore expensive than the wb.

the E-series is an OK exhaust. meaning, there are better pipes out there, but it is good for your purposes, mainly because you need something relatively quiet. it's a disc system, so you can make it as quiet or as loud as you want. i've heard a few cases of the pipes falling apart due to hitting/rubbing things and whatnot, but i dont think that's the case on a 250ex.

i'm not sure about price , but i'm assuming that it's only available as a slip on for the 250ex (it was last time i checked), expect it to be in the ballpark of 200 bucks. if they do in fact have a 250ex full system now, expect it to be in the ballpark of 350 or so. i bought a T-4 full system almost 3 years ago for 380.00, i'd buy one again, although i dont know how well their quiet cores work. i dont run one, and it wakes up the dead.

does anyone have a soundclip of either a white brothers exaust or a hmf exhaust or really any exhaust that is around a 100 decibles

I don't have a sound clip...but here is a picture of where my white brothers cracked the 1st time. Mind you it did it again, I sold it, and it cracked again on the kid and he got welded AGAIN. When he pulled it off to put on his HMF, the can came off, the core and pipe that attaches to the header just stayed connected. Get the HMF with a quiet core man;)

i would like to get a hmf but i cant get a exhaust thats loud and on here i heard that the HMF is loud even with the qiute core

my wb did the same thing after about 5 rides,i welded it and it is still holding,i just keep and eye on it.i love the power gain though:D

never had a problem with my WB system i jump and drag all the time..
